Storm Select is a basketball program in Vancouver, WA that improves middle school girls' basketball skills
beyond recreational basketball leagues. We are a Non Profit Corporation. We are comprised of local
volunteers, community members, parents, coaches, and players who want to provide a competitive basketball learning environment
at an affordable rate. With tryouts, we build our 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams.
The 2008/2009 season will open with tryouts the first or second week in October. Usually, practices are
Monday & Wednesday evenings 7:00 to 9:00 @ Skyview High School. The tournaments start the middle of November
and run until the middle of March. There are two to three tournaments each month consisting of 3 to 4 games for each
weekend. Each team will average 35 to 40 games.
